CD El Cotillo
Founded in 1983, Club Deportivo El Cotillo are based in the small fishing village of El Cotillo on the north-west coast of Fuerteventura in Spain's Canary Islands. The club have spent much of their history competing within the Canarian regional football system, while also enjoying periods at national Tercera División level. Representing a community far smaller than those behind most Spanish clubs, El Cotillo have developed a distinctly local identity closely connected to their island home. Their blue-and-white colours and Campo Municipal de El Cotillo have become familiar features of football on Fuerteventura.
